Consignment Do’s, Please!
The Dont’s are the opposite of the Do’s
DO - Launder
In order for articles to be considered for consignment, it is required that they be LAUNDERED. We will not accept any articles with stains or odour of any kind (including perfumes, deodorant, incense, smoke or musty storage odours). There are no exceptions.
DO - Check for damage
In order for articles to be considered for consignment, it is required that they be damage-free. We will not repair buttons or seams or sell “as-is”.
DO - ensure styles are current
We will not accept jackets or shirts with shoulder pads, or pants with bell bottoms or pleats. If you’ve had it for more than 5 years, chances are they will not sell.
DO - Choose your best items for consignment
The store prefers unique and exciting fashions. We will only take t-shirts or sweat shirts if they are pristine and unique. We tend to steer away from casual wear unless it is in new condition and with designer labels.
DO - Clean shoes and boots inside and out
DO - Leave tags attached
DO - Empty pockets
DO - Stick to consignment hours
DO - Understand we cannot accept everything
DO - Have an enjoyable and profitable consignment experience
